Originally developed and released by McLean's Gin as a limited edition release to celebrate the nuptials of THE Mr & Mrs McLean, Something Blue has now been added to the core range at RAER. Something Blue focuses on Colin and Jess’ favourite botanicals; the Tonka Bean and the Buchu Leaf. Hints of summer fruits, mint, caramel and hand-rolled tobacco leaf, supported by a fresh herbaceous background.

    About RAER

Colin McLean, the founder of McLean's Gin decided the time was right to explore a new opportunity and expand his industry insight and went to work for Jackton Distillery. Knowing that he had a great product on his hands with Something Blue, Colin McLean approached his new employers to see if they would be interested in taking on the product as part of their range of spirits, retaining the McLean's Gin name but now with a bigger distillery behind it to help grow Something Blue.

    Production

The Jackton Distillery produces a range of spirits including whisky, Scottish Gin and Scottish Vodka. The distillery is home to unique Kothe stills, the 5,000 litre stripping still and the 2,000 litre spirit still used for the whisky production with the state-of-the-art engineered Haygo Pot Still used for the production of RAER range of Scottish Gins.
