Argyll and Bute
Argyll and Bute stretches from the west coast of Scotland and borders Loch Lomond to the east. The Kintyre peninsula was once home to the Vikings, who travelled from their Norse homelands and settled in the area with its rich and fertile lands; it’s little wonder the region today is prevalent in agriculture, food, drink and tourism. Today you'll find thriving towns and villages including Campbeltown, which is famous for its whisky. Distilleries and Scottish Gin brands in the region include Beinn an Tuirc Distillers and Isle of Bute Distillery.
